My Computrainer Handlebar Controller appears to be dead. I’m getting power to the load generator, but not to the handlebar controller and when I pull up a course it shows “Not connected”. I’ve tried to reconnect everything to no avail and a friend tried to hook the controller up to his computrainer with his cables and couldn’t get power to it either, so I’m guessing it isn’t the stereo cable. I’ve tried to call computrainer, but all I can get to is voice mail boxes and I’ve posted something on their forums, but haven’t gotten any responses. The computrainer is a little over 2 years old. Anyone have suggestions for fixes or dealing with Computrainer?
Try sending an e-mail to their customer service address - I’ve contacted them several times and they’ve always been quick to respond, and incredibly helpful.
If you tried it on your friends CT and get the same result you’ll probably have to send it back. We just got one of ours back because the stereo connector jack was messed up. Since it was out of warranty, it cost $50 plus $10 shipping to get it fixed. In any event, you’ll have to e-mail or call them to get the process rolling. They are always pretty quick to respond…
