Little bump for the evening crowd!

I throw a bump for a Canadian Company. Sounds like a nice product, I’d apply, but I am in a bit of a small pond out here on the East Coast.

Don’t bet on small pond meaning much…it’s all about getting the right people in their stuff. Had there not been a serious medical emergency in my family in the spring I’d have been on board. Throw your hat into the ring…be the first in your small pond to get the word out. Gonna beg for forgiveness and try again for 2012.

As Kentiger said, don’t let your location rule you out. If you think that you’d have something that would benefit the company, big or small, go ahead and apply!

Any word on when selection will be made?

It should be this week coming up we’ll be sending out final emails! sorry, it was supposed to be this past week burt things hve just been so busy!

Just saw this thread this morning … and, just wanted to say that the Compressport Calf Sleeves are totally awesome … bought a pair at a local triathlon/duathlon event this summer and having been wearing those puppies for most of my speed/tempo and races since, and have had super-duper results … though, would like to think that my training also had something to do with it, as well … Andy

Awesome, that’s great to hear Andy! And it’s true that you still need to put in that hard work - but we’re just trying to lessen the impact and try to help you recover faster!

Thanks VanCityJ …

Question for you … with regards to your 3D.DOTS Concept technology … wouldn’t it cause blistering with all those little dots ? Also, would you suggest going with the full compression sock option, or a calf sleeve with the regular 3D.DOTS Concept socks ? Also, any idea what the longevity of the integrity of the compression sleeves / socks will last ? That is, the number of wash cycles, etc …

We actually haven’t had anyone that’s complained of the 3D.DOTS causing blisters. The material is extremely soft and you don’t notice it very much with your shoes on once you start running. I’ve been running in them personally since August in every condition from road runs up to a marathon, and trail runs up to 3 hours - and not a thing.

In terms of Full Sock vs. calf sleeve with short sock, you’re going to be better off in terms of circulation and quicker recovery in the Full Sock. However, the calf sleeve will provide better compression and I find it more comfortable as well, as well as it’s more versatile. We recommend the calf sleeve more for during your workouts/racing, and the Full Socks for recovery.

Longevity is really something that varies a lot based on how much you’re wearing them, and for how long each time, as well as when and how you’re washing them. To make them last the longest, we recommend to hand wash and hand to dry. This will help to maintain it’s compression.
