Compression Question...how long do I wear this stuff?

I have a pair of compression tights that I bought not too long ago. For how long do you wear them at a time? I’ve worn them to work a couple of times (under my regular pants) and after a while I forget I’m wearing them. Is it better to wear them for only 3-4 hours at a time? Any benefit/harm to wearing them for a full work day everyday?

for maximum effect you should wear them all day every day, everywhere you go. when you introduce yourself to new people you should also tell them you are wearing compression gear.

more cowbell!

If you wear them for too long your head will pop off.

Take them off before that happens.

There’s no harm.

I tried telling people that, but they just beat me up…now I’ve got even more to recover from
.

Some good humor in this thread.

You can wear them all the time. Just avoid wearing the same pair more than 3 days in a row (which is mentioned in the directions of the medical type available at Walgreen’s).

Thanks for all the responses. I know it’s a pretty silly question, but I didn’t see anything that described how they were intended to be worn. I didn’t know if it would add any extra benefit to wearing them for a full day (like maybe the day after a long ride or run).

If they’re socks, those go on your feet and lower legs. Tights cover your whole legs. Sleeves, which you might think go on your lower arm, actually go on your shins/calves.

What if you knew you couldn’t fail? I’d challenge you to a swim so I could tell you your 20 minute HIM swim does not make you a swimmer.
