I am considering the Fitness model, primarily to take the place of going to physical therapy for electrical stimulation when I get an injury. Can anyone offer an opinion on the effectiveness of these units? They are $$, so I’d like to know if they work as advertised Thanks…Ken.
Here’s a recent thread on this subject

IMHO, save your money. If you are going to physical therapy and all they’re doing is giving you e-stim then you need to find a new PT. E-stim has never been shown to provide long-term relief for injuries.
I have never used a compex, but I have used many e-stim units through 8 years of working with athletes and sports related injuries. I’m not a believer. You will certainly find those people on this forum who disagree with me, that’s fine. This is my opinion based on my experience and my knowledge of the literature.
Thanks for the info…Ken.
I have the Mi500 and use it daily. I love it. Treat it like an extra workout. Some advise though, start slowly and build up. Otherwise it will really hurt.
