I have a Compex Mi Sport 500 model. Everything was working fine until a few days ago, I plugged it in to charge, and all it will do is show “check waiting for RS” on the screen. It wont do anything else. I have tried contacting Compex in Europe, and in the USA but no return responses at all. So, now I am tapping into the collective wisdom of Slowtwitch. Anybody familiar with the product have any ideas? Thanks.

Yea, Im sure she would be less than enthused at me cold calling her to diagnose my Compex problem. This is my third one of a similar model. They all have ended up with weird problems after about 3 years each. I take very good care of all my stuff. Unfortunately, it seems that their service has gotten worse and worse over the years. I have even sunk to posting on the Compex Facebook forum for advise. If I cant get something resolved with this, they will end up loosing a customer of 10 years. I am starting to feel really bad about advising others over the years to purchase any Compex unit. After months of trying to get answers, I am very frustrated at the lack of any communication. Globus seems to be the new up and comer. Maybe they would appreciate the buisness. Its not like these things are cheap. Ok, rant over. I just want to find out if my unit is crapped, or if its repairable. Never thought it would be this difficult.
