Putting the carbon levers onto my base bar, The insert for the levers bottoms out and the lever does not fit in all the way. HAs anybody had this problem? did you fix it? or did you just use different levers? The profile QS2 levers fit perfectly, seems lik eperhaps profile did this to force me to use their levers intead of others. Is this a conspiracy against me???
I will pull mine in a bit (when I get home). I have both levers also…is the SRAM that much deeper?

Easy fix. Patiently file or dremel out as much as is needed to make it work.
Be careful not to aspirate the dust

I have this exact setup, Sram carbon levers and Cobra base bar, and aside from a little stiffness inserting one of the levers I had no problems. Did you apply any force at all or stop once you felt resistance?
I pushed fairly hard, I’ll look at it again tonight and see if I cant get it to work again, then I will use a file.
