So I’m thinking of putting compact cranks on my Cervelo Dual, which I believe is the 2005 model year or a bit earlier (red with white letters). Before I spend the money I just want to make sure the FD mount on my bike will actually be compatible with compact cranks. If anyone here has knowledge of this issue I’d appreciate it.
Can you lower the derailleur with that mount? Is it a clamp on or a braze on?
Its a braze-on. Looks like there is a bit of room for lowering, but I’m just not sure if the room is sufficient.
