Some just dont quite find the target audience, like the scooters for the elderly. The specialized bike adds are great. The Cervelo ones put me to sleep. The “ready set go” for Saab is not so bad if you didnt have to hear it 400 times. The blue paint tape is played to nauseum as well. My pick goes to Specialized. Oh yeah, and for local adds, two of our bike shops are tryng to one up one another as every other commercial break one is featured.
I like the Paolo Bettini specialized commercial. And I have vowed never to buy blue tape.
How about the Mitchem commercial for deodorant with the 3 lovely young ladies in bikinis. Oh to be young again.
Lovely, indeed. Thinking about being young again and experience with cologne…some years ago, me and a couple of buddies were getting ready to leave for a jr high dance (we actually walked to to the dance, that dates me). We were appropriately coiffed, turned out and on our way when an older brother of one of my friends noticed we were wearing a cologne called Brut (do they still sale that stuff), Anyway at his urging, ‘nah, nah you need more’ we fairly well drained the bottle and proceeded to the dance. Needless, to say we stood out…out away from everybody. Older brother had a good laugh.
I could do without the hunting clips, but my vote for the best commercial on the tour (so far) is Versus’ own “Strong Survive.”

I like how the leader board never starts with the French guy, whats his name? It starts with the drama couple Lance and Conto.
funny, where I live, the “owner” of this certain shop, who happens to be the biggest douche bag in the entire world, talks about cycling as if he knows what he is talking about. fricking hillarious. wtf.
