Comic strips

I know that this is kind of the reason they are funny but does anyone else ever think that the guys who write comic strips are using your life as an example? In my case Arlo and Janis (at 3 times a week) could easily be my wife and I. Sometimes even the words are the same. The other one is Dilbert. If our current Fire Chief isn’t the pointy haired boss and if our HR guy isn’t Catbert then I’ll eat my shorts. Very eerie!

We are very much a Get Fuzzy household.

Although Arlo and Janis does hit the nail on the head from time to time, as well.

Not a comic strip, but I think I work with Napoleon Dynamite.

I have a 20 foot red dog that weighs 3,000 lbs.

Definitely relate to several. As parents of a soon-to-be ex-teenager (turns 20 in Feb) we identify with Zits on almost a daily basis.

Have a Great Dane (our 2d) and there are things in Marmaduke that are clearly “Dane-isms.”

I currently have 4 Non Sequiturs posted next to my desk…

Thanks
