with most of us relying on the coke boost during the run leg I was wondering why there is no energy gel out there with the “miracle” flavour?
Or is there? Thinking about making my own, has someone here tried that before?

Powerbar has Cola Energy Gel Blasts. Never tried them.
Kinetica also has a Cola gel.
Probably others but I got bored searching.
You could also try making your own starting with cola syrup.

Know about the gel blasts from powerbar but prefer gels only. the kinetica would be exactly what l’d love to try but only available in europe and look at that price!

PowerBar Cola Energy Blasts are the best. Have never gotten sick of them since they first came out. A little caffeine in them too.
Just found Honey Stinger chews at REI this past weekend in Cherry Cola flavour. Not bad tasting.
Carbo shotz have a cola flavour gel, its proabably my favourite one. I think they do both a caffeinated and non caffeinated version.
They seemed to disappear from the market for a while, but I’ve just found a load more at my LBS. Maybe it was a 3 year old box that had been sitting at the back of the storeroom…
