Hi guys and gals,
If due to budget reasons,i can only choose either a carbon aerobar or basebar,which shld i go with for better vibration dampening purposes?
Basebar will be visiontech and aerobar the new T1 ski-bends from PD,only whether which is carbon.if thats gonna help.

I say basebar; the biggest effect is going to be felt right under your arms, and even on the Vision carbon extensions, the clamps/pad holders are aluminum… so if you went with the aluminum base/carbon extensions, it would be all aluminum under your arms.
So yea, get the carbon basebar.
there will be no vibration dampening from a basebar or extensions.
the key here is the elbow pads and how they attach.
for instance, the vision tech elbow pads, are composite, and attach at one end so they can flex as you go over bumps.
some bar’s pads mount straight to the basebar, aren’t going to flex at all.
