Cobb Cycling Coupon?

Going to purchase the new V-Flow from Cobb cycling. Anyone know a coupon code???

There are no cupon codes at this time. My web site has a cupon code area, it’s something my web person put on there but I don’t know why. Try one of the seats, I think you’ll like it.

John-

I’ve got over 5000 miles on your Adamo. I love it, but I’m thinking of trying one of your new designs this season.

What’s the proper way to sit on a V-flow on a tri bike with your hips rotated forward? Should you sit over the cutout with the nose straight ahead, or further forward with the nose to one side or the other?

Another question for the Master, if I may…

I understand you have new designs coming out soon. If this is correct, will there be an updated version of the V-flow Plus, or does this apply to another line? I’ve already decided to buy the V-flow Plus, but I seem to be really good at buying the right thing at the wrong time.

Thanks for the passion you bring for such a quality product.

If you’re having good sucess with the Adamo, then I wouldn’t change it. But, if you must, try to sit more over the cut out, there is a moulded in craddle area that helps relieve a lot of pressure. If you do ride on the nose, use the Plus model. I do have a couple of new models that will be out in late April, if you want to change to one of the new designs and have purchased a VFlow or Plus, all you will have to pay is the difference in the seat cost. That is why I put a 180 day comfort guarantee on these seats. Get one and spend some time with it, I don’t care how beat it is when you send it back, loan it to your buddies to try, keep the tools and the tape measure as my gift for trying it, there will be no hassles.

Keen to try one of these…but we’re in New Zealand
.

I would just like to point out that your Slowtwitch Sessions interview is responsible for 90% of your business sense the interview.

Thanks very much. You just can’t beat customer service like that!

Still, as there’s still snow on the ground here and I wouldn’t be able to test a V-flow adequately, I think I’ll have to wait till April and check out your new designs.

FWIW, I was hoping a new saddle would help two Adamo issues I’ve experienced:

  1. My Adamo seems to have a single “sweet spot”. I was hoping a V-flow would let me move around a bit more.

  2. I seem to have more weight on my arms with the Adamo than other saddles. So I was curious if the more traditional nose on the V-flow would alleviate this at all.

Thanks John,

My order for the V-Flow Plus will go through later today. I can’t wait to try it out!

That is cool think I will tri one out!

John,

I just ordered a V-Flow Plus. Can’t wait to try it out.

I was kicking myself for not checking on ST for a coupon before ordering so I’m glad (?) that there isn’t one.

Just order a Plus. Had the Adamo race for last season including IM Florida. Just couldn’t get it dialed in and not great for climbing. Have great hopes for the new Plus as I will be doing Triple T and IMC this year.

What are the differences between the BR MO-flow/flow saddles vs. the V and V-plus?

Thanks John, I ordered the V-flow plus on Monday ( Hope it arrives tomorrow) and read on Tues that you had these new models coming out in April. It’s good to know I can spend some time with the plus but also try the new models if necessary. That is great customer service.

Ordered mine today. I can’t wait to try it out! Thanks

I have 3 cycling apparel/bike sites coupons.

Craft Sports:st19pals (Don’t know the validation)

Patagonia: pfmxaff (good through 31th Mar)

Nashbar: 20412 (good between 10 am to 10 pm)

I have tried over 20 saddles in my day on my tri bike and you are exactly right. The number one problem with the ISM Adamo IMO is that it has a single spot that you can sit on. That might be ok for the road bike but I like to make little adjustments in my TT position and the Cobb Saddles allows multiple spots to sit and move around on. Just pick one up today - you have 180 days to try it out.

My preference after trying four Cobb saddles is the Max: http://www.trisports.com/cobb-vflow-max.html - You can use “TGROCKS” at Cobb Cycling to save 20%.
