Does this honestly bother you? He’s a grown ass man, coaching adults. He can make his own decisions about ride safety and so can his clients. I, personally, couldn’t care less if he rides while filming himself. And I would never do it myself because I don’t think it’s safe but that doesn’t mean he shouldn’t do it.

What Coach Troy is doing is not any more dangerous than pulling a power bar out of your jersey pocket and opening it up. Actually, it’s SAFER! About 1:20 in to the video, he shows the bar…a 3T bar, with nothing attached…so it’s not attached to the bars…I think he’s holding onto a car.
