I have an xlab flatwing with the accessory that holds the air chuck and CO2 cartridges. For whatever reason, the cartridge in the same hole always falls off on my rides. This happens without exception and despite smooth roads. Does anyone else have this experience or know of some quick fixes? Perhaps plumber’s tape?
Spend 50 cents on a role pf plumbers tape and put it around the threads before inserting it in the X Nut. Do that and you’ll be fine.

For training - put the C02 cartridge in the back pocket of your jersey.
For racing - Use black electrical tape to firmly attach the cartridge to your seatpost.

I had that experience on a 1/2 IM race, ding dong, looking back and seeing the cartridge bounce of the road… ok… I better don’t lose the next one as well 
After that, I use plumbing tape.
happend to me twice alredy on group rides,made me lose the group and lost my way in some wierd village :).
