I’d really like a P3 Carbon, but it ain’t happen’ ‘cause I already have a P2K and Mrs. Big EE says that’s good enough. (And I keep knockin’ her up. Little EE No. 3 is on the way in April, so get to buy diapers instead of bikes)
But I’d settle for some of that nice Craft running and tri stuff. Some new Speedplays would be good, too. And an Ipod Nano would be pretty sweet.

christmas to me is about kids and giving to those far less fortunate than us - not adults getting presents

The only gift I ask for is that my family have good health for another year. I guess that would include me and having good health means that I can engage in tri. This is a better gift than any material piece of kit

I already have everything I asked for. My CFO is the BEST. She pretty much says “if it will make you happy, get it,” knowing that I am pretty good about not spending too much. That said, I got a great deal on a Lucero a couple months ago, and just picked up a Nano. So I am set.
Now I just need to figure out how to finance her furniture purchases.
You and I were thinking alike. I got the exact same gift from my wife, albeit a couple of months early.
I’ve with Dev in that the thing I want most is continued health and wellness for my family and friends. Too many illnesses and deaths over the past few years. The holidays are, however, a heck of a lot more fun now that I’m a parent! It really is about the kids.

So very true. My 21 yr old daughter is flying in to Ontario from Victoria and my 16 yr old son from his mom’s in Golden, BC with her. Big X-mas this year as it’s also my parent’s 60th anniversary on the 26th. The true celebration is that all three generations of us will be together.
Actually since my bun is still in the oven (#1 on the way) I am already working on my Christmas gifts to myself and as it works out for the little lady as well. Painting the road and tri bikes and upgrading both. Ugrading my FSR XC, single speed mountain bike and getting a cross bike.
The little lady will be getting the old single speed mountain bike but transformed into a beautiful 24-speed machine.
I am trying to get all of this done before March when the little guy shows up and all my money goes to him. Newly painted room and all the fixings to get the baby room set up. My project for my week off at Christmas.
To answer the original question, all I really want is a healthy baby boy (already know the sex). The best gift I could ever ask for.

BigEE some advice. Enjoy this christmas season, take some time for you a Mrs BigEE to enjoy the holidays quietly togeather. IT WILL BE ALONG TIME UNTILL YOU WILL GET THE OPP.
Now before I get flamed. I LOVE Christmas with kids nothing like it. but Im glad the wife and I took a bit of time for our selves and enjoyed the quiet the year before the kids. Just a point in time you (hooefully) never go back to.

I prefer a smaller, but intensely loyal, customer base. Like any good drug dealer, I like to have a firm control on supply sources and outflows. Have a great christmass I have bin through that. I told my wife if she died and left me with seven kids I would kill her. Thank God she is still around 8 years later. Colan cancer lost.
