Stupid question but… I’m shopping for clip-ons for my Scott roadbike with OS handlebars (31.8mm)
I notice that some brands offer 31.8mm (PD & Vision) and some offer 31.7mm (Deda).
Is there any difference? I can’t imagine that 0.1mm diameter will matter BUT I’ve made stupid assumptions before.
1mm would make a difference, but 0.1mm will not matter. The internal diameters deform that much (and more) when installing them.
Yes, your assumption is correct, for this application, those two dimensions are essentially interchangeable.
Deda lists theirs differently than everyone else in the industry, yet they’re exactly the same. They’ll fit.
