I’ve had a clicking ankle for 2 years and it’s getting louder as time goes on. No pain just, well, embarrassing. It used to be an issue only when I ran, but now it’s audible when walking. My sports MD said that as long as it doesn’t hurt he suggests just living with it.
I’d be interested to know if anyone has a similar problem. Do I really have to live with this?
Is it really THAT big of a deal. Just be happy you’re pain free. Each click just lets you know you still work. Both of my ankles have clicked my whole life (I’m 26)
im 20 and both of my ankles have clicked for as long as i can remember, running, i can always tell when im forefoot/midfoot striking because each ankle will click with every step. ive been told the same thing, as long as there is no pain, dont worry about it
Thank goodness I’m not the only one with this issue! My roommate can always tell when I walk downstairs. She cracks up and it makes me chuckle too. No biggie. You’ll forget about it in time. I’ve noticed it for over 10 years or so, that’s when I was about 14 or 15. I only remember it when she brings it up or the house is really quiet on wood floors.
Chuckle about it. Again, you are pain free so thank God for that.
