I just saw a news forecast here in New Jersey that Cleveland got a ton of rain yesterday and everything is flooded. I’m coming out for the Cleveland Tri and Greater Cleveland Tri in the next week. Any chance of the swim being cancelled? Chance of course change like last year at Greater Cleveland?
The rain was pretty much concentrated in the downtown area and Mentor is about 25 miles northeast of downtown, so I don’t think the GCT course was affected.
The CT swim course is in an area surrounded by cement (piers, breakwalls, etc…), so I doubt it suffered any damage. I drove the CT bike/run course on the way to work this morning, and I didn’t see any problems there, either.
