Clermont Pub Crawl was a smashing success. As I post right now the rest of the guys are still at the race venue (Tiki-Minneola) getting to know some of the locals so I will let them post the details to that but here are some pics just for you:

Looks like a good time; hope everyone made it home in one piece.
Our college cross country team does an event called the “All Bar Run”. In this small town there are 15 drinking establishments connected my an 11 mile run course. Each establishment has its designated drink (the last one is a personal pitcher of Red Hook), and the run is conducted after CC nationals, so late Nov or early Dec. Oh, and the run finished with a 500 foot climb back to campus.
The team has heckled me for three years (“you’re not an Ironman if you haven’t done the ABR”), so this year I’m planning on joining them. Should be a good time.

After publicly challenging his arch-rival, Psuck, to a Saturday Lakemont hammerfest, Pduck “tapered” instead for your event. He rode with the kids. He was rested. He was ready. Word is he engulfed a loaf of white bread just to absorb the booze. I did that on my bachelor party and kicked ass.

I don’t think its an understatement but Duckett did possess some Superman like power and speed last night to edge BottomFeeder and the rest of the field.
Wow. Photos can be sooooo deceiving. That svelte dude in the blue can’t even manage a sub-21 5K and his arch-rival Pduck (a/k/a Superman) is freakin’ running a 2:48 mary!
Damn it Grogan. Did you have to show a picture of me picking turds out of my ass? I’ve got to uphold my reputation in Twitcha… unless chicks dig it, then I suppose I should be thanking you.
In any case, this drunken run was cool (I was in trouble after two Bud Lights, God help me). I can’t wait for the First Annual Drunken Bike Derby.
Heh, next time I’ll taper for the event…I’ll be nice and rested after time off from the GFT! I think BottomFeeder might have won if he hadn’t sat down in the middle of the road and waited for everyone. If I don’t run a damn training marathon that morning I might even finish 3rd or 4th at the next one! Well…maybe not.
But we did stir up the locals at pretty much every place. I think they were frightened by the shaved legs and various IM livery. We were truly a fearsome sight! Next time though, we need to come up with a designated crash site so I don’t have to drive 50 minutes back home at 2am. Long live the Clermont Pub Crawl!
I think I heard P-Duck say this…one of the many great quotes from the night…"Next Clermont Pub Crawl is like a potluck dinner…everyone has to bring a “dish”.
