Anyone have a sense of how windy it is in Clearwater?

All I know so far is that the weather has been consistently projecting around a high of 82 degrees. I have half a hope I won’t get fried on race day. You are up in the Northeast somewhere aren’t you? It hasn’t been the warmest of falls this year.
Yeah it’s snowed on more than one ride recently—just flurries though.

the wind is blowing east around 8-15mph every morning. Around 60 at sunrise and heats up quickly thereafter. Not sure what the gulf temp is as I have not taken a pre race swim out there yet.
Water temp. is 71-72 degrees. It’s been real windy here lately. Yesterday’s morning bike ride was brutal. There’s large portions of the bike ride on the Courtney Campbell Bridge that won’t have anything to buffer the wind. It’s also been fairly cold in the mornings (at least for us Floridians), but warms up quickly by the mid-morning. Should make for interesting decisions on what to wear on the bike ride.
