Just bought a used Ti Frame (Merlin Aerial, Thanks to all who advised me on it)
It has some small scratches on it and I was curious if using a polishing compound or chrome type polish would get them out.
Any recommendations?
Thanks,

If you have the brushed Ti finish you can touch it up with some fine furniture grade steel wool that is easy to find in any hardware store (paint dept). DONT use the steel wool that you clean dishes with. If it is polished (I dont think Merlin did that though) you need to send it back to ABG for a re-polish. With the steel wool make sure that you go in the grain of the current brushed finish…I bet you end up doing the whole bike. For dirty finger prints and the sort, I found Stainless Steel Magic to be a wonderful cleaner.
I don’t know about the scratches, but Lemon Pledge is widely used for a final go-over.
Enjoy the new ride.
