Anyone get screwed by a fellow Slowtwitcher? I bought a wheel a few weeks back,took two weeks to arrive axle hanging out of box, tire had a cut,rim had a ding,carbon had streaks from something dulling the clearcoat,plus white paint overspray, No responce from the seller. Thanks dude

if you used paypal start the ‘dispute’ action. it will freeze their paypal account and that always gets a response!
Guess i am unlucky,last year sent money for a wheelset and seller changed his mind about selling the wheels took two weeks to get my money back.
I’ve had no issues. I’d put his name out there for everyone to see. If he’s still here it’ll at least stop him from selling anything else.
Nope…i bought a Hed Jet Disc from Applenut and although i haven’t physically seen it yet, i had my wife open it for me while talking to her on skype and it looked GREAT, was well packaged, and no dents in the carbon. I bought some other stuff as well and haven’t had any issues. id talk to the person who sold it to you and see if you can work out some sort of agreement on how to settle it
I have had great luck here, most of my new bike came from fellow ST’ers.
I’ve also bought/sold many items on ST. No problems whatsoever from any of the transactions. As mentioned, before I buy I always look at the seller’s ST history and will read many of their posts, especially ones in the classifieds section to see how other sales went.
