Circa 2003/04 P2K For Sale

A friend of mine would like to sell this Cervelo P2K. Though I remember when he bought it, I don’t remember the exact year. I’m guessing it was 2003 or 2004. He bought a new Felt this year, and I was going to buy this bike from him but it’s too small. Size is 58 cm, outfitted with 9 speed Ultegra, Syntace aerobars, Ritchey base bars (I believe), Profile Design fork, Easton stem. Rear wheel is a Ritchey clincher, front wheel is a tubular old school aluminum Mavic. (I know – the dreaded tubular/clincher combo; I’m not sure what happened to the Ritchey front wheel. The Mavic is mine, and I let him borrow it for a while. I’m willing to sell it with the bike. It’s old but it’s not a bad wheel.) The bike could use a tune-up; it hasn’t been ridden seriously in about a year. I took it out for a few hour-long rides late in the summer but I haven’t ridden it in a while. Mechanically, everything works on it. One thing about the frame – the owner put his name on the top tube. When I tried to remove it, some of the paint came off. The paint has chipped in a couple of other places, too. I’m guessing whoever gets it would want to have it re-painted. The owner had it re-painted several years ago, which is when he had his name put on it. This bike has done more sprints than can be counted, as well as two Ironmans and four half Ironmans. Anybody want it for $600? We’ll talk shipping if anyone is interested. Also, if you’re in Atlanta and want it, I can deliver it to the metro area this weekend. http://i39.tinypic.com/ao4ck.jpg

Want to sell frame/fork/post?

I’m checking with the owner. Just for kicks, make me an offer on it and I’ll pass it along. Won’t hurt to ask.
