Edge 1000, 810, or 510. Price differences are noted , but as related to actual function and use with the vector pedals are there any strong recommendations for one versus the other?
510, i don’t have the vector pedals but 510 gives you all the metrics you need and is small enough its not bothersome. I know garmin has some fancier models out there (i like fancy) but i love the 510

Seconded. I find the cool things (and they are cool) on the other models to be unnecessary

I bought the Edge 500 as it is a bit cheaper and has everything you might ever need for just training/racing on the bike. Works great with the Vektor pedals!!
Edge 510 has touch screen, color screen and wifi, usb, etc. stuff to integrate with your phone/facebook/twitter but I never use these.

x2 I have the 500 and it does everything possible with the Vector pedals. Plus you can probably snag one for cheap in the classifieds.
