China floats its currency, will bike prices rise?

China announced that ti will no longer peg the yaun to the US dollar, how soon before bike and component prices (as well as a lot of other things) start rising? Will US retailers start jacking prices up right away, or when new inventories are purchased? I wouldn’t be surprised if prices start going up very soon.

Plus – their cost for raw materials falls. And – they can push margin pressures right on down the line to the 200 million peasants waiting in line to work in the factories.

The currency re-val was a token political ploy.
