man, that part of the path slopes to the lake. Match this with the ice to come and LOOKOUT!
I was on the lakefront path this morning and bailed when I saw those waves and took another route. I can’t believe anyone actually tried to get through there. It was a certainty you would get swamped. That’s always a bad place with northeast winds and it was as bad as it gets today.
One of the few situations in which you could practice both the swim and the bike or the swim and the run at the same time.
Didn’t someone recently post a thread asking why more people were not out on the lakeshore path?
I thought the same at first. Wouldn’t surprise me. There are tons of aero helmets out there all the time. That one runner ate it pretty good.
