Hopefully we’ll have the same temperatures we’re having right now…high of 60’s.
Good luck to everyone. If you see me blubbering on the side of the road, laugh and point at me.

If you can keep up this type of good humor past mile 20 you’ll be fine. When I did my first Chicago tri, the marine corp band was playing on Wells Street at mile 3. Very inspirational. When I passed the band at mile 23 on the return trip, however, they annoyed the hell out of me. Good luck!
speedy’s in. along with mrs. speedy.
OT but I heard Chicago was ranked as the #1 worst place for fall allergies.
I’ll be there on Sunday…
If you’re going to the expo on Saturday, be sure to go to the “curb crew” area (or whatever it’s called) - they’re giving away cowbells.
“That… that doesn’t work for me. I gotta have more cowbell!” Bruce Dickinson
I’ll be there.
I’m in. Good thing the Sox won yesterday or there would have been issues with the race route.
Good luck everyone!
I’m here. Not running, just working. Will be in and out of the ASICS booth all day and out on the course tomorrow. The two women favorites, Deena Kastor and Constantina Dita (she won last year) are ASICS athletes. We had an amazing turn-out for an autograph session we had with them yesterday.
Oh yeah, and the only place in the world you can get the new GT-2110 is at the ASICS booth this weekend, $90 includes tax.
Mrs. justsometriguy will be there running her first. The sad thing is I won’t be running, but will probably be hobbling worse than her with my various minor injuries. I will be rooting hard though in my obnoxious neon green shirt so she can find me in the crowd. Good luck, runners!
I’m in. First marathon for me. Hopefully, it will go well. I’m hoping it’s not going to be too windy in the Windy City.
I’ll be there
Stop by the New Balance booth and look for the out of shape guy with brown hair!
Have a good race everyone!

Im there!! Can’t wait:)
I was going to go out with Tracy who is running it…but it is not worth my gas to deal with traffic and all the other assholes in Chicago area…would rather stay home and get my own run in.
Pacing the 3:45 group with the New Balance Pace Team. And it’s going to be COOOOOOOOLD at the start…bring your trash bags.
