So I am still in chi-town today, and I would like to get an open water swim workout in today. No ill-effects after yesterday’s race, despite the fact the lifeguard was sure we were going to die if we attempted to swim at Ohio Street beach on Saturday. Have they re-opened the “beaches”?
Word “beaches” in parenthesis, because IMO a lake doesn’t count as a beach.
You’re good to go - according to the Chicago Park District report this morning, only 2 beaches on the south end of the city have a ban. All otheres are an advisory or open.
Have a great swim - I’m in the office today and will be jealous…
