Is anyone else annoyed by the Chevy truck ad? I really hate those ads that expand when you mouse over them.

well, it’s not that magic. a couple of months ago i had my developers build an adblock detector. i sent an email out to all those who employ adblock (very few) and asked them why they do this? in most cases, they chose to dis-enable adblock for slowtwitch, once i explained our side of it, and the lengths to which we go to keep the ads inoffensive.
in a few cases, users wrote back and gave compelling reasons to keep adblock enabled, and they are now running adblock on slowtwitch. those who chose not to answer at all had their account disabled. your post today reminded me that i need to send out another batch of emails to those who employ adbock. which i just did.
if you find an ad offensive, please email me about it. we have one advertiser who serves third party ads, and i don’t see these before they’re served. we have strict guidelines about the ads that can be served, and if one of these ads violates those guidelines i’d certainly like to hear about it.
