Took the Litespeed in yesterday for generic maintenance before IMOO and when I made the list I asked them to change the rim tape out. I got a funny look because the race wheels don’t have that many miles on them but they know what happened to me once in a race when rim tape went bad when it was fairly new. I am now a cloth man. Went over to the big leather chair to work while they did their thing. When they came and got me they said it was a good thing I wanted the rim tape changed. It was OME and pretty much shot. So, get your maintenance done and get everything checked out. We all work too hard to cover 140.6 to spend any time by the side of the road which can be avoided.
