Check out the front end on THIS bike

what the heck…

looks pretty freaking brilliant, if bizarre

What’s so strange about it? Deep drop. Standard ITM cowhorns with a high upsweep at the end, and standard road brake levers…

What did you think was going on there?

Im kinda partial to this one

nothing new or crazy- actually the ITM setup is a few years old

.

well i’ve never seen drops intregrated into an aero base bar like that before actaully. I like it.

seems like the shifter are way too far forward. but…thanks though

I just wanted to see that from another angle.

It’s not “drops”, but more like upward extension to accomodate the standard road levers without reversing them (pointing forward).

ah i get. upside down drops.

and you guys said it’s not weird…

I have used a variation of this front end for well over ten years, starting with the “Rominger” Dual, which was a quill set up.

The F1 was somewhat like the one Bianchi shows on their TT bike, except the CX2 you see has adjustable reach/armrest placement (i.e. stem length).

I like the ability to use real road levers on the Duals. But for some stupid reason, I had to do quite a few modifications to make a set of Record levers to route internally.

As long as we are playing with Bianchi bikes. My personal favorite and probably my next bike:

Don’t know why it is love, it just is.
