1629 looked to her right…noticing she was at “Ball Height” she rapidly looked left as her little sister goes into shock…mom tries to keep a polite smile but it is hard…or it isnt…depends on what you are looking at I suppose. In any case, the children will soon be having some “grown up” talks with mom to try and explain things and minimize the emotional trauma.
The Glasses, small package, speedsuit, pose, whatever you are doing with your bicept, showing off a 30 dollar gift certificate, use of the word slay…and small package
Swim(200m): 2:51 (4th overall) I only see 2 faster swims…3rd perhaps?
T1: 1:07 (1st overall) This was first in your AG…my T1 was 1:05 there were 2 other 1:05s and a 1:02!
Bike(11 mi.): 29:56 (6th overall/Avg. Speed 23.1 mph) I see this as the 3rd fastest bike split, not 6th…I don’t count the aquabike guy.
Run(2 mi.): 15:06 (7:33/mi. pace, but this includes T2)
You did well! The elitists here don’t cut you slack for pretty much just beginning triathlon was it 3 seasons ago?
While you are right…a few (very small few) of the elitists were Cat 1/2 or better cyclists, College runners or College swimmers who played at high levels and then went to Tri…their year one was better than many folks year 1-20…but like I said, that is a very few.
I give him huge credit for posting pic’s and times…hell, he even in the past posted a picture of his living room…
For the record, I still believe that Trash Talk continues to pull off the greatest internet version of Andy Kaufman’s wrestling gig ever - and we’re all the gullible, yet well entertained, audience.
Ditch the ski tips (though I have them on my training bike…)
Keeping the white cycling shoes could work, but you need some white racing flats.
I can understand how the pride generated from significant weight loss, coupled with a strong passion for triathlon, could lead to posts like these, but the way they’re presented just openly invites criticism.
5) Excellent work with the wheelset
Kudos on your race. It’s always a great feeling to finish a race and be proud of the results.
Thanks. It’s an older X-Lab lenticular (tubular) I picked up here in the ST classifieds. The front is a SRAM S80 I got there as well, I actually just sold it to the person who bought the rear and I’m getting a tubular trispoke to race on.
