Why isn’t there someplace like PBK that sells Bontrager Race Extra Light Pro tires??

I’ve purchased 3 of them so far (and now need a 4th, due to the sudden demise of one last weekend), and paid full boat from Trek directly.
Just went to their website, and the F’ers just raised the price another $5. $65 for a tire is highway robbery!!!
This is 2009. This is the interwebs. There has to be a better way.

I got a set from my LBS that sponsors our team for $45, but still a pricey tire. Nice ride with the 290 tpi, but horrible handling (fine I suppose on a tri/TT bike). I have a set with maybe 250 miles on I’ll send you for a Slowtwitch friend special (say, $25 incl shipping)? They aren’t doing me any good right now :slight_smile:

So - why is ML spelling “tyres” like the Brits I wonder …

SOLD!! Why am I not surprised my boy rroof is hooking me up, yet again? YoudaMAN.

I like to goof around w/ the tires spelling, since I usually order all my other tyres from PBK.
