Cheap Training Bibs

chainlove.com gets some deals in the $50 range for bibs. Castelli, capo and whatnot.

So my Sugoi RS bibs are showing some buttcrackage after one season of training. Aside from that I’ve been really happy with them–especially since I paid $50 for them at a sales rep’s liquidation sale.

$150 is looking pretty steep to this tightwad.

$50 for one season. So you have to buy them every year.

I spent $125 - $175 for four sets of 400 mile bibs from DeSoto. They’ve lasted 3 years now and are showing no signs of wearing out.

Average of $150 for 3 years seems to be about $50 a year.

I’m also guessing these will be just fine next year too.

But keep thinking you’re saving money by buying cheap.

I get either cavalos on sale from Nashbar around $35USD or primal pretty ones off Ebay for about $40. These are only good up to about a 3-4 hour ride for me, unfortunately.
