Group of us from Alabama are coming up to Sewanee, TN on July 15th weekend for a cycling-beer-food-Tour-cycling weekend. Do you guys have any favorite routes? Does anyone want to join us? Any good climbs in the area other than Hwy 41 (i think) from Cowan to Sewanee? Anyone ridden Hwy 56 or Hwy 156?

I live in the Chattanooga area. Every triathlete in town will probably be at the Chattanooga Waterfront Triathlon that weekend. It’s the USAT SE Regional.
There are plenty of big climbs in the area. You could check the Chattanooga Bike Club site chattbike.com. They have a ride tab with routes, maps and directions for some of the popular rides in the area.
