Charles Barkley on race issues

The full interview ought to be interesting. No doubt the CNN hosts and guests will be calling him out.

There has been talk about his interview yesterday and today and no one on CNN has ‘called him out’ and have agreed with what was said.

The fact that CNN isn’t calling him out is progress.

I have no idea who Van Jones is but he disagreed with Barkley’s comments…it was on CNN.

I thought his comments were spot on.

Which, according to him, means he’s not black enough.

One step forward and three steps back??? I’m sure Barkley will be scolded by the usual suspects.

Normally Dr. Huxtable would also be chiming in, interesting he seems awfully quite all of a sudden.

Van Jones was part of the Obama admin early on. He had to step aside after conservatives pilloried him for being a 9/11 truther. He is also one who believes the whole system is rotten, and a revolutionary, self identified as communist and later tied himself to the socialist banner. Pretty much the standard "progressive" of today, many of whom currently inhabit the Whitehouse. He comments for CNN from the left, and (IMO) is sharp enough to make cogent arguments from that POV.

You left out his most important qualification…

revolutionary

You’re going a little over the top there. He’s not by any stretch of the imagination, a revolutionary. Being a member of protest group with “revolution” in the title is light years away from actually trying to overthrow a government.

Which is what?

He’s a Marxist race baiting racist former appointee of the President.

“I’ll take ball washing for $1000 Alex.”

I would be more fun, although a little too predictable, to hear what you thought he was saying the left out qualification might be in this case.
