Changing Cycling Shoes

I’ve just gotten a new pair of Specialized Tri-Vents. So comfy and light compared to my old Shimano TR-02s!. Keeping the same pedals and cleat-type. I’ve got the cleat placement dialed in, but what else do I need to think about/adjust/measure when switching cycling shoes? IMC is in five weeks, and I don’t want something to go haywire three weeks from now.

Thanks,
-Colin

I’d guess the thickness/thinness of the sole could effect seat height.

Also, I believe the Specialized shoes have some varus canting to them, which could effect things.
