Changing Crankarm length

My new bike is en-route and will be comning with 170cranks, currently I ride 172.5mm. I am a short guy, hence the name, and find no probs on the 172.5, what differences will there be, if any and will it affect my speed at all. I appreciate that cadence should increase- anything else

You may notice it, or you may not, depends on how sensitiove you are to that minor of a change.

Did the same thing…no noticeable diff.my cadence went up a tad,but, thats a good thing for me.

If you raise your seat 2.5mm, you probably won’t notice the difference at all.
