Champion’s size chart is a little weird, anyone have experience with how the Champion sizing compares to Capo?
i.e., to size bib shorts they have you measure a pair that fits lying on the ground, but the size I get from that seems off…

I have ChampSys bibs and jerseys, but nothing Capo so I can’t compare the two, but I can give you my thoughts on ChampSys.
I am 6’2" and was ~210lbs when I got my ChampSys Large jersey and bib. The bibs fit good in the thighs, but a little too much room in the crotch which caused some very uncomfortable chafing when you drop into the aero bars. The jersey was baggy, but wearable.
I’m now down to 180lbs and both are too big. I just ordered some sugoi shorts in M and they fit great.

Thanks, I am 6’2" 190#, maybe a medium (i lost a lot of weight last couple seasons, I have to mentally get my head around ordering a medium, i was always an “XL” guy… )
Yeah, I’m proud of the weight I’ve lost and work it took, but damn it makes fitting into shit hard. Need to open a Medium Tall tri gear store. And maybe a left handed tri store and corner that market too.
Our club just received our champion system order, and everyone was pretty consistent in one complaint: The tops are either too short (sizing down), or too baggy (sizing up). While not listed on the sizing charts, and we did not receive any in our sizing demos, during checkout there was an option for ‘long’ versions of the tops. For our next order, pretty much everyone will be getting that option.
Ex: I am 6’ 145lbs and ordered the medium top (small shorts). The fit is great around my chest, but in aero, the back slides up showing about 2 inches of lower back and while running, perhaps an inch of stomach. I have medium tops in sugoi and 2XU. The sugoi fits similar (short) while the 2XU is better and longer.
The tri suits obviously cannot have that problem, and the small fits me perfectly. The shorts are great as well.
A minor point…The tops and shorts are made of slightly different material, so even if you match pantone colors between the two, they will not look quite the same. If that really matters to you, stick to black and white for backgrounds so the effect will be unnoticeable.
