Champ Sys Sleeveless vs Sleeved Apex Speedsuit and anyone wear Men's XS

Getting ready to put in on our clubs clothing order and wanted to see what people thought of the champ Sys fit. We had sizing samples but they did not have any speedsuits or apex sleeveless in size xs. I wear xs across the board in their cycling kit but am new to tri and not familiar with their tri stuff. I’m 5’5.5 134lbs.
Also side question does anyone know what the drag difference is between the sleeve and sleeveless? Don’t want to hear “it depends” just the facts please.

Probably too late now, but why not get sizing samples?

Rep did not have any.

The honest answer is “it depends”. If the fit is not good, and there are wrinkles, then there will be drag. It’s really that simple. Check out the ERO Aero Camp article and thread to learn more. If it fits tight and no wrinkles, you save time. If it doesn’t, you lose time. There are no drag numbers out yet.

I can’t help you yet, but I have both on order right now for delivery in a few weeks. I had the sleeveless in a small last year and ordered the sleeved in an XS. Am 5’10, 140 lbs. am really hoping the sleeved one fits well, based on how they test faster.

Very helpful thank you. I think if your 5’10 and you feel you can get into an xs I’m not going to worry since for one they don’t make anything smaller in men’s.

Don’t they make an XXS? I vaguely remember seeing it on the sizing chart.

I weigh 140lbs at 6"2, and wear size S across the board - cycling gear, running gear and Apex Blade trisuit. Tried the sleeved speedsuit but opted for a sleeveless for the wetsuit-illegal races this season.

The Apex suits are very stretchy, so if you’re between sizes it’s safe to opt for the smaller one. Height is also not much of a factor, weight seems to be the main differentiator. Also, the Apex has a long inseam - longer than the other CS suits.

I have one. Im 5’9" and 165 and have a small. It fits good and I can run comfortably in it. I could go xs if I wanted it to fit like a tt suit.
