My dura ace 10 spd chain rings on my road bike are pretty smoked and I have some older ultegra 9 spd rings lying around. Does anyone know if 9 spd rings will work with a 10 spd chain?
Thanks,
Jeff

Yup - will work just fine. 10 speed chain is slightly narrower, but all the chains (whether Campy, Shimano, SRAM or Wipperman) have the same “link length”
Thanks…that’s the answer I was hoping for after checking the prices on dura ace rings. OUCH!!!
It will work fine with the 9s chainrings, but shifting from small to large chainring seems a bit better with 10s chainrings when using 10s chain–I believe the ramping is slightly different.
