Finally. Excelsports received about 70 today. They are still on the shipping dock but you can order at 1-800-627-6664. I was going to make one of those monokote homemade covers but would be tough to do with 10 thumbs.
I’d assume these are the plastic ones for $60.00? Being true to Mr. Tibbs and SHR, I only paid thirty bucks for mine on ebay.
I didn’t realize that CH Aero also makes a light weight carbon version. Bummer is that it costs $199.00.
Yeah…well I have one of the original carbon wheel fairings made by Pawsh. Once on…it really is hard to tell by looking at it that it isn’t a solid disc. But then you ride it and it doesn’t make that hollow carbon sound that intimidates so. I really oughta dust it off and put it on one of my lighter rear wheels or something.
If only they made them in 650c …
hey there im going to make some carbon covers for my PT pro, once finished with that, i might be open to make a 650 version.
check out my website below (Cing bike lab)
thanks

Just curious: where did you see the carbon version? I only see the plastic…

Julian posted about the carbon version on a different thread
Thanks. For that kind of cash, I’d probably buy a Renn disc. But I guess if you’re covering a powertap wheel it might be worth it…

I agree. The carbon CH Aero covers won’t be any faster than the plastic ones although they’ll definately look much nicer.
