Cervelo worries

**Wolf TT Fork on P2K popping sound , **CERVÉLO CARBON BROKE!!!

I’m getting worried, P3c still hasn’t arrived and all this…I live so far away for warranties.

I would not be worried. Have had my P3C for since mid may and have had no noise or problems in this time frame.

May not even be a fork problem. Sometimes the noise resonates from another area and you think it is coming from somewhere when it actually isnt. More common on aluminium frames.

That other thread appears to be an ad for Ridley. Hard to imagine anyone just changing bikes and going out to do that many miles after training so little.

-that was no ad for Ridley, but I have to say I did like the bike, but Cervélo is still my #1, that is, if I can get a frame that is in one piece…

Btw, what did you mean by “going out to do that many miles after training so little”? In order to complete a 540km race you don’t need more than 2000km of cycling ahead of the race…I hadn’t, and I finished 107 out of 1800 or so…

Dude, you are not allowed to make any seemingly bad comments about Cervelo here - and you will really get a flame if you say you like another bike in the same post.

On ST Cervelo is cooler than Jesus on ice with a margarita…kinda pathetic really.

I’d heard Gerard an Heather skipped the country (yes, they left canada), they are now skipping gleefully along the nice toasty beaches of Peru (the only country where canada actually has a positive exchange rate) laughing something about spending deposits and jersey money…but it could just be a rumor.

Well, I suppose if you get the fit exactly transferred over to the new bike, it shouldn’t be a problem. 2000 km of training is a lot more reasonable than the listed 200 km, which is what prompted my comment.

-ok, I will never make another bad comment about Cervelo again!!hehe…in fact I love the bike, but of course when your love goes in two pieces you get a little bit disappointed and sad…

I didn’t get the same set up, 3-4cm shorter from seat to steer and also shorter from front of seat to pedal arm.

I agree, 200 vs 2000 km is a lot:) but next year I will hopefully add another 2000km before the same race:)

Cheers Bjorn
