i’m going to buy my first tri bike this week end and i have been looking at a couple of different bikes. i was wondering what you guys thought about it. i’m looking at the cervelo dual, quintanoo roo kilo and tequilo, and the felt s-32. so far on what i have read and heard it looks like the dual is the best hands down. what do you guys think? all help would be appreciated. by the way i live in LA, i was going to go to helens cycles. any advice on that?
Helen’s is a great shop. I only know them from road bike experience, but they have top shelf mechanics and are good people.
All good bikes. Can’t go wrong with any of them. Buy the one that fits best and tie-break by which you can get the best deal on.
I bought a Felt earlier this year and have been very happy with it, but most guys on this site will say go with the Cervelo. I think it’s kind of like walking into a Chevy dealer & and asking the salesman if you should buy a Ford. The truth is they’re all good bikes. Get a good fitting, test ride them & go with what ever fits the best. A good fit is more important than whose label is on the frame.
Totally agree with drgracer. Find yourself a good fitter and then have them size you up to give you options for bikes that will fit you the best. Then make your decision from there…
Ultimately you will be happier and more comfortable on the bike…
