For the Soloist riders out there, what riding configuration do you prefer and/or find the most comfortable? Has anyone bought the Soloist expecting to ride the road setup most often and find themselves enjoying the TT position better or vice-versa?
I bought a Soloist to be a road bike and it will always remain a road bike…
It could be a good slacker TT bike, but I’d never reverse the post and ride it steep.
Two guys in our road group ride Soloists. One guy rides it slack for road and forward for tri/TT.
The other guy converted from a P2K and rides the Soloist slack ala Simon Leyson at all times, and he’s a regular AG winner at local area tris. He’s found he’s just as fast on his Soloist as he was on the P2K which was steeper.
But here’s the qualifier - he’s one of those tall long legged tall guys and can run just as well off any angle bike.
