so i’m thinking of putting on some new bartape. i have one of those red and black team soloists. What colour do people think I should use? currently have red.
I like black (boring I know). I hate it when people put white on them. Don’t recall seeing a red one so can’t comment.
Alternating red and black might look good (and be hard to achieve :))

LOL! I have white bar tape on my Tequilo…it does get a bit dingy after a few hundred miles, but I don’t mind replacing it every so often.
I have this thing against white bar tape on soloists, both the black and red carbon ones and the black aluminium ones. I think it’s team CSC’s fault.
Strangely, I don’t care on other bikes (yet).
Wouldn’t use it myself (unless I had a white bike) due to the dirt issue. Black hides a multitude of sins and I’m too lazy (and incompetent) to change it that often. Maybe I drool all over the bars or something 
I could sell you some red/black, sort of camouflage type pattern.
LOL my 03 Soloist has the white CSC styled bar tape. I like the way it looks. It makes the bike look clean. Well as long as you change out the tape.

Unless you have a classic celeste coloured Bianchi and you have the matching Bianchi, celeste coloured tape.

Black bar tape is good, but switch to the red cable housings… got that on my R3 and looks awesome!

yeah I saw that, they are even better now, they have teamed up with dedacciai to build all their frames. Really nice kit. If you need anything let me know and I’ll hook you up with a ST discount. That goes for all Kiwis on the forum.
