Cervelo 'small parts' store

I have ordered some odd bits from them on their Small Parts Store link, but for the life of me I cannot find the link via Google or on their site.

Anyone know where the link is? Thanks

Looks like it’s gone. Not sure for how long:

What are you looking for?

I think I’m going to need a new bolt that is used to adjust the saddle tilt for the dual position seat mast on the Soloist. Might be able to find a hex replacement at a hardware store, but planning ahead in case I don’t.

I have been looking for the same bolt for my Soloist.

My Cervelo dealer doesn’t have them. Cervelo doesn’t have them. Have yet to find a single web retailer with one in stock. The Cervelo Small Parts store link is dead. Ummmm…

The link in my previous post is the only place I have found it.
$2.50, but shipping is $12. I’ll wait until I’m ready to order a few more items.

The link you have says ‘out of stock’. Was there another one you had by chance? I have not found a single web retailer in North America with one in stock…there has to be one somewhere I would think.

Sorry about that. I had checked that site about a month and a half ago,
and it was in stock.
I will stop by the bike shop near my work Wed afternoon. If they have any
in stock, I will pick up 2.

That bolt is such a pain. i ended up going to the hardware store and getting a hex bolt if the same length. much easier to tighten/loosen from the top when using a split saddle. I couldnt get it tight enough using the original

That bolt is designed to be finger tightened. The bolt/nut at the opposite end of the seatpost head is designed to be torqued. Specifically, the nut is designed to fail if over torqued and be replaced if over torqued rather than a more substainal part of the seatpost head failing. Finding that nut or bolt is equally challengeing. I called several Cervelo dealers looking for a nut last year and Austin Tri Cyclist had a replacement.

very hard to tighten by hand when you cant fit your hand under the saddle to do it
.

Checked 2 more LBS’s (only one sells Cervelo). Niether shop had the bolt.

My local hardware store has bolts that look like that. Granted they only sell steel and stainless (not titanium) but its worth a look. I find them in the hardware area in those small drawers where they keep the more unique screws and such.

Never bought a bolt from an LBS.

Try here, they have a large selection of different types of bike bolts and such.

FWIW I found out the thread on the metric bolt is an M6. My big industrial hardware store carries them in knurled thumb screw configs so am going to grab a couple since things are looking sketchy with Cervelo parts sourcing right now. Their link to the small parts store is gone, small parts nearly impossible to come by ‘in stock’. Lot’s of things on sites, but say ‘back ordered temporarily’.
