Cervelo S2.......with shifting problems all of a sudden - missing something from the frame?

Having some problems dialing my Di2 shifting all of a sudden…am I missing something from the frame?
Bike is a 2010 Cervelo S2, original DA Di2
Never had any problems with dialing in the shifting even between 3 sets of different wheels.

About 2 weeks ago I’m out for a ride and shifting is perfect. After the ride I clean the bike and after putting the same wheelset back on, shifting was not right.
I’ve literally been working on this for the past two weeks trying to get it dialed in right and it’s really driving me CRAZY!!..when tonight I noticed what you see in the picture. Almost looks like a small piece of something has fallen off the frame - inside of the drive side dropout.
If it’s a missing piece, it would explain the problem as I can’t seem to get the derailleur to shift down low enough to drop into the 11t gear. The shifting adjustment is maxed to its lowest level…which is still a few mm short of being correct.
I am using the thinnest 10 sp spacer on all my hub/cassettes.

I’m able to still ride, but the only solution that works is to adjust the shifting to only drop down as far as the 12t gear…in effect, running it as a 9 speed instead of 10.

If something is actually missing…is this a replaceable part? Frame warrant issue?

Thanks,
Michael

your derailleur hanger looks slightly worse for wear… is it bent? a bent derailleur hanger can cause shifting issues.

if that is the problem it’s easily remedied. spare replacement hangers cause ~$30? they’re meant to be replaceable so your frame doesnt get damaged in a crash or fall. They can be bent back but I’d always recommend having a spare lying around

Hanger is fine. the worse for wear look is really just some minor scratching from taking wheels on/off.
Last night I actually put a thin washer in between the wheel and the dropouts (where it looks like something is missing from the frame in the photos) and was able to get the shifting back to perfect…which tells me what I originally thought, something has fallen off the frame.
