This may be a dumb question, but is the picture at the link below in the rear facing or front facing seat position? I was assuming rear facing. But now I am not so sure.

Thanks. So as a triathlete I would want to turn the seat around to get a steeper angle?
Ideally, yes. As long as flipping that seat post around doesn’t put you too far over the front fork/tire. I would make sure I could flip that seatpost and still get a good, safe fit.
I am borderline on this bike (but it works):

It depends on how you want to be fitted on the bike, and your individual comfort, build and flexiblity.
I rode my Dual the first 2 years with the seatpost in the rear position. At the end of last season I was refitted and rode steeper with a front facing seat post. There was more power, but it was at the cost of comfort. I probably did not give my fitter enough information to get it right. Unfortunatly, the frame cracked (I am a big guy, and Cervelo was quick to help with warrranty options), before I got it completely comfortable.
But do not just assume one is better than the other without riding or fitting in both positions.
Good luck!
