Cervelo R2.5 vs. Soloist?

I’m looking at a new road bike and waivering between these two bikes. The Soloist has an aero advantage over the R2.5, yes? What about weight, comfort etc. I’m looking for a road racing bike and hilly terrain triathlon bike. Just curious.

Both have compact frames. The advantage of the Soloist is price and aero tubing. The advantage of the R2.5 would be the carbon frame comfort. I haven’t rode a 2.5 so can’t tell you much. Soloist is a nice ride for aluminium but some people claim that it handles twitchy. I haven’t rode one enough to say. Only test rode a friends a couple of times. If you’re thinking of the R2.5 also test ride a composite Giant TCR.

The R2.5 is dead sexy
